* Charlton Raceway Inc back in business The Board of Management have taken back control of Charlton Raceway Inc for the 2008/2009 speedway season. Preliminary dates have been set here.

Inaugural Super Sedan 30-30 - *NEW

Drivers confirmed to date for the Inaugural Super Sedan 30-30 meeting on November 22nd are: USA Star Steve Francis driving with Matt Pascoe, Jamie McHugh driving with Steve Jordan, Mick Nicola driving with Peter Nicola, Blair Granger & Nick Girdlestone will pair up, and John Leslight with his co-driver to be confirmed.

Trophy Presentation Night

The Trophy Presentation night will be held at the West Toowoomba Bowls Club, Cnr Taylor and West Streets, Toowoomba on Saturday 26th July commencing at 6.00pm. There will be trophies for the top three point scorers in Juniors, Street Sedans and Modified Production as well as a participants trophy for all the juniors who finished outside the top three. Entertainment will provided.

Tickets for the trophy night are $30 per head and can be purchased from Lee Volk at Toowoomba Jewellers in Margaret Street. Ticket price covers a 3 course meal and entertainment. Drinks are available at the bar.

Tickets must be paid for by the 19th of July so we can advise the bowls club of numbers. Brisbane guitarist Brendan Schick will be providing the entertainment.

Club Forms - *NEW

Forms for licences for the new season 2008/2009 are available now from Lee Volk at Toowoomba Jewellers and Dennis Bullpitt at Toowoomba Steering Service.

Charlton Juniors

Attention all juniors:
Don't think that you have to scrap your 4 cylinder car and build a 6 cylinder. 4 cylinder cars are still eligible. Depending on numbers we may run a 4 cylinder division and a 6 cylinder division. So even if you don't win outright you may win your division. Some of the more experienced drivers have decided to make the move to a 6 cylinder however it is recommended that all new drivers start in a 4 cylinder.
