Welcome All to Charlton raceways first meeting for the 07/08 speedway season.
There has been some changes here at Charlton with the promotions team, but we are here for I believe all the same reasons and that is we all enjoy our speedway . Whether you sit on the hill, help with the running of the meeting or you are a competitor, we do it to have bit of fun.
Tonight's racing should be exciting because for many of the competitors it is there first hit out for the season , and some may be a little rusty as it takes a couple of nights to get everything synchronized.
The super sedans are here with one of the best around in Jamie McHugh, he will surely be exciting to watch. The Modified Production cars are here in big numbers with something like 37 cars entered for the first round of the G & W racing series, Guys Like Doyle, Raymont and Downes are the guns but there plenty of others who feel they can win tonight as well. Don't rule out guys like Shane Macdonald, Greg Worling and in fact the rest of the Raymont family.
Speedcars have some new cars in the club as well and some rivalry between some of the drivers is going to be hot. Dwarf cars and juniors have great numbers as well with some new racers having there first outings in these divisions.
