NASR (Qld) Inc. Safety Training Seminar

The club has received a letter inviting our members to participate in the NASR (Qld) Inc. Safety Training Seminar to be held on Sunday 16th November, 2008 at Brisbane International Speedway.

This invitation also includes Track Operators, Track Infield Officials, Track Safety Crew, Club Officials, Drivers and Pit Crews and the Parents of Junior Drivers.

The meeting will commence at 9.00am for Sign-On (all persons attending are required to sign the Attendance Book), followed by the Official Welcome and introduction of NASR (Qld) Inc. Officials and NASR (Qld) Inc. Safety Officers and the Promotors.

Safety Presentations and Practical Demonstrations to be conducted by NASR (Qld) Inc. Safety Officer (Gavin Ryan - Paramedic) and Practical Fire Fighting Demonstrations to be conducted by NASR (Qld) Inc. Fire Safety Officer (Ross Peachey). There will also be 2 Guest Speakers (speaking on Safety Gear and Safety Apparel).

Lunch will be available, at a fee to be charged.

At the conclusion of the Demonstrations, an Overview will be held. A Certificate of Participation and a NASR Safety Team Patch for 2008 will be forwarded to participating NASR members as soon as practical after the event.

NOTE - All participants must hold a current NASR licence or be covered by a Recognised Insurance for Speedway Racing.
