Trophy Presentation Night

The Charlton Raceway End of Season Trophy Night was held at the West Toowoomba Bowls Club on
Saturday 26th July. A good time was had by all. Eventual winners were:
Modified Production.
Highest Points - Rodney Pammenter.
2nd - Robert Trapp.
3rd - Shane Dennis.
Encouragement Award - Nathan MacDonald.
Street Sedans.
Highest Points - Murray Dioth.
2nd - Lee Volk.
3rd - Allan Murphy.
Encouragement Award - Andrew Harper.
Juniors.
Highest Points - James Campbell.
2nd - Ashley Volk.
3rd - Jesse Volk.
Encouragement Awards - Hayden Byrne, John Collier.
Points of Interest.
Nathan MacDonald won the feature race in his second ever drive in his brother's car.
Allan Murphy did well to finish 3rd overall after more than 20 years out of the driver's seat.
James Campbell took two hats tricks during the season winning all three races on those nights.
Hayden Byrne was the most improved driver throughout the season.
Felicia Mitchell did well to take a feature race win and beat the boys.
John Collier also did well in his first season with at least one podium finish and never spinning the car at all.
